Sociology & Psychology
Welcome to Soc/Psych!

Students in Sociology will examine key concepts and conventions in the field of Sociology throughout the 1st semester. This will be done through a variety of presentations and case studies as examples of Sociology in action. We will examine key Sociological factors and apply them to real life experiences and historical examples to help explain how Sociology assists us in our understanding of the human experience.

Students will explore Psychology in the 2nd Semester of the year. Psychology will explore standing theories on the human Psyche and its development. We will explore the various fields of psychology and their impact on the modern world. The course will focus on the individuals development, in contrast with the group-centric or society-centric studies of the first semester.
