Activity Program Funding

LHSKC Sports and Activities Program Funding (APF)

The overall goal of this program is to provide students with a well-funded program of sports and activities.  Each student involved is asked to participate with minimal financial impact on the family.

  1. A participation fee is necessary for a student to be a part of a sport or activity.

  2. The limit for each student regardless of the number activities involved is $200

  3. Each student is asked to participate in the solicitation of donations for our programs.  We ask for each student to give us addresses of TEN (or more) people in order for us to send out letters.  You will be credited for whatever funds are mailed in your student’s name.

  4. Please get names and addresses to the office BY THE FIRST WEEK OF PRACTICE and we will send the letters in the name of your student.  We do not reuse this contact information for other mailings.

  5. A family may wish to pay the entire fee and not send letters.  HOWEVER, I AM ASKING FOR FULL PARTICIPATION BECAUSE THE PROGRAM HAS RAISED AS MUCH AS $17,000 FOR OUR PROGRAMS.

  6. If you choose not to participate in the solicitation of donations for the program, the fees will be added to your school bill and due before the first competition of the season (Sports/Academic team) or one week before the performance (Drama).

 

ALL STUDENT ATHLETES ARE ASKED TO FILL OUT THE APF FORM AND SUBMIT TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.
