Admissions Process

Welcome to The Lutheran High School of Kansas City. Thank you for applying to The Lutheran High School of Kansas City for the upcoming school year. Please follow the instructions below to apply. Please submit the Registration Fee, Enrollment Application and Supplemental Forms to the Office of Admissions to apply.   • 3. Submit Birth Certificate
  • 4. Complete the Authorization to Release Records Form
  • 5. Complete the Health Record Form
  • 6. Submit Immunization Records
  • 7. Complete the  Insurance and Emergency Information Form
  • 8. Complete the Tuition Payment Agreement Form
  • 9. Complete the Confidential Application for Financial Aid
  • 10. Take the Placement Test

  • ACCREDITATION

The Lutheran High School of Kansas City if fully accredited by AdvancEd (formerly North Central Association Accreditation), National Lutheran Schools Accreditation, and Missouri Non-Public School Accreditation.

TUITION

The tuition rates are below. Association Church members receive a proportionate discount. A multiple child discount is also offered. Tuition is paid directly to The Lutheran High School of Kansas City. Payment options are available through the business manager and discounts are given for those families who pay in one or two payments.

FEES

A non-refundable Registration Fee is due at the time of the submission of the Enrollment Application. 

New Student Registration Fee is $275
Re-Enrollment Registration Fee is $200 if paid by February 1st
Re-Enrollment Registration Fee is $275 if paid by February-July
Re-Enrollment Registration Fee is $300 if paid after August 1st
A discount of $100 is given to a family if a second child enrolls at The Lutheran High School Kansas City

Technology Fee of $350 per student is due by May 15th
Book Fee of $350 is due by May 15th

SEMESTER BREAKDOWN OF FEES FOR PART-TIME STUDENTS

Semester (.5 credit) course fee is $350.00
Year (1.0 credit) course fee is $700.00
Family concurrent enrollment for semester is $200.00
Family concurrent enrollment for year is $400.00
Individual registration fee is $100.00

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Lutheran High School of Kansas City assists families in making Christian education affordable. Financial aid will be dispersed based on need and available funding. The Confidential Application for Financial Aid is available in the Office of Admissions. Students must be enrolled in The Lutheran High School of Kansas City in order to be eligible for financial aid.

The deadline for submitting The Confidential Application for Financial Aid is May 15th.
