This is the image for the news article titled Lutheran High School to Celebrate Winter Spirit WeekThe events will be celebrated under the theme, "There's No Place Like Home." Students are invited to show their school spirit throughout the week by participating in themed Dress Up Days.

Monday is Over the Rainbow Day. Students and Faculty alike will dress in the colors of the rainbow appointed to their group.  Freshman will wear Red; Sophomores will wear Yellow; Juniors will wear Blue; Seniors will wear Green; and Faculty & Staff should dress in Purple.

 Tuesday's theme is "There’s a Storm Coming" and Students and Faculty should dress as if a twister came through LHS . . . wacky hair, mismatched clothes, etc.

 On Wednesday, LHSKC will be "Stuck in Oz" Participants will Dress as characters from the Wizard of Oz.

Thursday will be "We’re Not in Kansas Anymore" Day. The halls will be full of students wearing any college sports gear . . . just not from Kansas!

Finally, on Friday it's "There’s No Place Like Home" Day where students support LHS by wearing Maroon and Gold gear!

Events planned for the week include the Annual Lip Sync Competition on Thursday at 6:30 (where the grades compete for prizes by selecting a favorite song, choreographing dance moves, and lip syncing to the lyrics); Friday night's basketball game against Maranatha beginning at 5:00; and a Winter Formal Dance - A Night in Emerald City - on Saturday from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Members of the LHSKC Community and all Alumni are invited to join the Knights for any and all of these events.
