One of the largest priorities of the Lutheran High School of Kansas City is to include as many students and families as possible into our school community each year. We are convinced that each year a student is part of the school, their spiritual and academic lives are strengthened far more than what they would be without daily faith development in a Christian environment by Christian faculty and staff. Consequently, they are more likely to continue in a life-long relationship with their Savior, Jesus Christ.
Each year, we present the Karl Birnstein Memorial Golf Tournament as a significant effort to fund needy families desiring a Christian education for their secondary student. As you can well imagine, these troubling economic times have resulted in numerous requests for assistance. If we gather ourselves together in this effort to generate financial assistance for families, we can give families the gift for which they so strongly pray.
Will you join us on Saturday, October 12th for our golf scramble? It is a great day of golf, fellowship, food, prizes and fun. Our greens and lunch fee are only $100 per person. Foursomes can play for $380 if entry fee is paid by September 20th!
Please join all of us on October 12th at Swope Memorial Golf Course to assist parents of worthy students to reach the goal of providing a full-time Christian high school education for their children. We have all experienced wanting to provide our families with the most worthwhile opportunities that lead to short and long-term success. If someone else would just lend a hand, the opportunity could be given. You can be that hand for a student in financial need.
