The Lutheran High School of Kansas City is a private Christian high school in Kansas City, Missouri. 

The Lutheran High School of Kansas City is a fully accredited by AdvancED, Missouri Non-Public School Accreditation and the National Lutheran School Accreditation organization. 

Students at The Lutheran High School of Kansas City receive a rigorous college preparatory curriculum in the areas of English, Religion, Mathematics, Science, Foreign Languages, Art, Music and Physical Education. The Lutheran High School of Kansas City offers Dual College credit courses and online courses through Acellus. We offer a "block" schedule. A block schedule consists of longer class periods each week. Over the past four years, 65% of our students achieved the honor roll minimum of a 3.0 GPA. One hundred percent of our students graduate from The Lutheran High School of Kansas City. After graduation, 95% percent of our students enroll in a college or university. 

Graduation Requirements

Students are eligible for a Lutheran High School of Kansas City diploma after successfully completing the 30 credit hour requirement. The 30 credit hours include four credit hours of English; three credit hours of Social Studies; four credit hours of Mathematics; three credit hours of Science; four credit hours of Religion; two credit hours of Foreign Language; two credit hours of Fine Arts; two credit hours of Practical Arts; one credit hour of Physical Education; .5 credit hours of Health; and five credit hours of Electives. Attendance is a requirement for graduation. Also, The Lutheran High School of Kansas City "Service for the Lord" program is a graduation requirement. Students must complete a minimum of 40 hours of community services per year. 

​Dual College Credits

The Lutheran High School of Kansas City offers Dual College Credit courses in the areas of English, Mathematics, Social Studies and Foreign Language from The University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg and Concordia University Nebraska.
